holds onto the blood & bone line

Change is inevitable, constant and sometimes unnerving in its challenge. Today’s change brings hope and joy as my daughter works to give birth to our second grandchild. Such beauty and grace in something so small. So much potential. There is a scientific term “potential energy”. It refers to the possibility of energy, energy stored “within a system”. In this case the system is a human. A human with potential, possibility. I have to remind myself I am still in that position. I am a human with potential energy.
