It’s been alternating between sun, cloud and rain – and it’s been fairly warm. Some plants are starting to wake up. I saw these daffodils starting their slow ascent and felt encouraged. Here spring can come early and has a way of encouraging me. Last year things were similar and then it snowed in February – I know it’s not spring yet but I am hopeful for the earthy scent and the light feeling that goes with it.
I think inside me is a similar scene – bulbs of ideas warming and starting to rise up. Then they get cold and stop, then warmed and so on. For me, focusing my energy on those bulbs can help them make deeper roots and also grow and bloom.
