multi, mixed and moving

My creative work is based on word & image. That covers a lot of ground! Sometimes I work in words – creating poetry or story – and other times I work in images in a variety of media. There are times when I combine the two. I’ve created altered images of my photography and added poetry and I’ve written poetry and created paintings or sculpture in response. All are my voice and my way of being the world. I find it nearly impossible to do just “one thing”. The current term for this is “multipotentialite“. It’s how I move through the world.

Here’s what I’m working on:

  • in copper (my favourite metal): etching, colouring, and refining some pendants – see them here
  • with paint: the crazy “why not” part of me has signed up for a “30 in 30” painting spree for the month of September – I think I can I think I can I think I can. You can follow me on Instagram to see what happens.
  • in words: still in the “little of this and that” phase but I will be using some long stored words I created on twitter for an intense month f to fuel my painting spree

Day one of the 30 in 30 challenge: revere the seed

the sky so still & clear
i don’t have to tell you about the blue
